Don A Dehm was born and raised in Iowa, where he was heavily involved in youth activities such as 4-H. He graduated from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee with degrees in Computer Science and Environmental Geography. Before becoming a producer Don worked as a software engineer, a restaurant manager, and a naturalist. Don directs, produces, performs, and serves as the managing director of Seelie Studios. He fills what spare time he has honing his home brewing craft and playing in the SCA with his family. He is driven by passion, vision, and community.
Eric Schumacher was raised by a family of entertainment professionals in Los Angeles California and the San Francisco Bay Area and he continues to serve the entertainment industry as a critically acclaimed actor, producer, director, and music manager. He has a steadily growing list of successful film, local and national television, and multimedia projects under his belt and a rapidly growing international fan base. As the Creative Director for Seelie Studios, Eric leads the development of some of our more complex and unique projects from concept to launch and personally directs many of them. He is a former president of the Independent Film Association of Southern Arizona, has been a featured guest on various local and national talk shows, has been quoted in many prestigious publications regarding the film and multimedia industry and is an expert in entertainment marketing.
Ted Lessman was born and raised in Cookeville, Tennessee, where he took an early interest in computers and electronics. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee with a degree in Computer Science and has spent many years in the industry. A partner in Seelie Studios, Ted also oversees web sites and software development at Seelie Studios. In his spare time he works on various software, electronic and music projects.
Studio Manager/Director of Photography/Post Production Lead
Scott Forster studied Linguistics at The University of Arizona and gained his degree in video production from Broadcast Center in St Louis, Missouri. Before coming to Seelie Studios, Scott worked for UATV and KMSB TV in Tucson, Arizona, and as a network administrator for a game retailer. Currently, he is the studio manager at Seelie Studios and utilizes his experience behind the camera as the Director of Photography for many Seelie Studio projects. He also leads the post production team, periodically directs and produces, and even assists with social media for the studio. In his downtime, Scott enjoys entertaining his friends with the best of group oriented, table top game experiences.
Audio Engineer/Post Production Editor/Special Effects
Erin Lee Newburn is a graduate of the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film & Television. Before joining Seelie Studios, she was a theatrical sound designer and technician, working for Fluxx Productions, the Arizona Theatre Company, and others. Erin fills several technical roles for Seelie Studios as a Production Audio Engineer, Post Production Sound Designer, Foley Artist, Video Editor, Post Production Special Effects Editor, and Props Designer. She dedicates most of her spare time to the play, study, and design of hobby board games, alongside the study of queer and feminist media theory. She has a loving fiancée, two cats and one dog.
Script Editor/Video Editor/Associate Producer
Drew Kallen is a Montana native and was raised on Sci-fi, Theatre and other geek culture. He graduated Montana State University with a Media and Theatre Arts degree with emphasis in Film and in Theatre. Drew is a script editor for many of Seelie Studios productions, assists with video editing and is an associate producer. He is also a respected theater and film actor and has played many prominent roles in some of Seelie Studios more popular productions. In addition to his production work with Seelie Studios, Drew also co-manages “Isle of Games”, a popular game store in Tucson, Arizona.
Originally from upstate New York, Arterial Red migrated to Tennessee after serving 4 years in the US Army. He graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He works as our graphic artist designing many of our logos, art, and the visual look and feel for printed and collateral materials as companions to our many productions. He seeks to understand the true heart of each production to best compliment it in a way that will speak to fans. His passions include playing board games with friends, reading, and “making cool stuff”. AR hates mosquitoes, Circus Peanuts, and doesn’t trust cats.
Associate Producer/Script Supervisor/Continuity
Tina Huerta was raised in Arlington, Virginia where she spent most of her formative years either within a fence-jump, running up and down forest trails of the Gulf Branch Nature Center and Park, or standing and staring down paintings in many of the National museums found within the D.C. area. As an independent filmmaker, Tina received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Arizona in 2003 and has since won a bevy of awards for short film subjects mostly in comedy. Tina utilizes her treasure trove of filmmaking skills to assist Seelie Studios in many behind the scenes functions and is also an author of poetry collections and children’s books. .
